Oh, thanks! I'm already below CS2's minimum requirements, and CS3's are even higher, so I just didn't bother. That sounds good, though; I'll see if I can hunt down a demo or something and see how it does.
Oh, I know. I often put rings in stupid places because they look cool. Artistic license and all. The debris could very well be in orbit, however; I'll grant you that it'd fall towards the surface eventually, but it could be years, assuming it just got there as a result of some space accident or what have you.
As long as we're picking holes, it's highly unlikely that a planet covered in liquid water isn't going to have an atmosphere with clouds and such, but I didn't want to cover the nice texture I made. Granted, the dark spots could've been made by something other than water, but they look like water, and water's most likely since it's inhabited and all.
